The Bunbuns Market lets you list your Second Life Bunbuns bunnies for sale. A dedicated in-world kiosk reads your bunnies and publishes them automatically, using only the public in-world data the bunny shows (name, sex, and live stats: Age/Full/Happy/Pregnant). Buyers browse the web market and teleport to your spot. It is a system separate from the other DataServiceSL markets.
1. Getting started
- Have your Bunbuns account registered and linked to your SL avatar (at the Bunbuns Main Store). See the game guide: bunbunsgame.com/info.
- Get the Bunbuns Kiosk (DataServiceSL) and rez it where your bunnies are.
- Place your bunnies on/near the kiosk. That's it — they appear in the market within a few seconds.
2. Selling your bunnies
Rez the Bunbuns Kiosk and put your bunnies on top of (or next to) it. The kiosk:
- detects only Bunbuns bunnies for the market (food is tracked separately for the Food alarm);
- reads each bunny's ID from its description and its live stats from the floating text;
- publishes it to your market with name, sex, Age/Full/Happy/Pregnant and a teleport to its exact spot.
Kiosk owner menu: Market (open the market), My Bunnies (your seller area, auto-login), Guide, Sys Texture, Info, Hide Text/Prim, Republish, Reset. Visitors get Market and Guide. Take a bunny back into inventory and it drops off the market automatically.
You can resize the kiosk, make it transparent or apply your own texture — the kiosk never changes your prim on its own, and your look is kept after a reset or region restart. Press Sys Texture to apply the ready-made design: it auto-picks the round or square version from the prim shape and only textures face 0 (standard prims; on mesh, pick the texture by hand).
3. The market
The public market shows every active bunny. You can:
- Search by name, colour or ID; filter by price; sort every column (click the header).
- Click a bunny's name to open its detail page with the in-world stats.
- Click the Region to teleport straight to the bunny.
- Export the page to PDF.
Open the market
4. Your seller area (My Bunnies)
From the kiosk (My Bunnies) or the market top bar you reach My Bunnies, where you manage your own listings:
- Edit price inline and Save.
- Pause / Reactivate / Archive / Delete a listing.
- Bulk actions: tick several listings (or Select all) and apply an action to all at once.
- Search, filter by status, sort columns, PDF/Phone.
When you work on a row (save price, an action) the page keeps you on that same row instead of jumping to the top.
In the seller area each listing has Promote buttons. These spend from your wallet and make your bunny stand out:
| Service | What it does | Price |
| Featured | Pinned at the top of the market + badge | L$100 / 7gg |
| Boost | Pushed up in the ordering | L$50 / 7gg |
| Highlight | Highlighted row | L$30 / 7gg |
| Bold | Bold, coloured name | L$20 / 7gg |
Buying while already active extends the duration. The cost is taken from your wallet instantly.
6. Wallet
Promotions and the kiosk renewal are paid from your DataServiceSL wallet (the same shared L$ balance used across DSL). Your balance is shown in the top bar of the seller area.
- To add funds, top up in-world at the Wallet Cash Main (Main Store).
- If your balance is too low, the site tells you and gives the landmark.

7. Kiosk subscription
The Bunbuns kiosk is free for the first 3 months. After that it needs an annual renewal (L$500 / 365gg).
- A counter next to your wallet balance shows the days left (green = trial, blue = paid, red = expired).
- Renew any time with the Renew button — it charges your wallet and adds one year.
If the subscription expires, all your listings go to Pause and disappear from the market (they stay in your seller area). As soon as you renew, they all come back to their previous position automatically. Listings you paused yourself are not affected.
8. Food alarm
The kiosk also reads the food near your bunnies (Pellets and Chew Blocks) and keeps you warned before it runs out. Open it from 🔔 Food Alarm in your seller area.
- Level %: a food is at 100% while there are spare bags/strings in storage, then it drops to the % of the bag/string in use (94% = almost full, 19% = almost empty).
- Threshold %: set a limit per food type (default 10%). When a food reaches it, you are alerted.
- When low you get an in-world IM right away; if it is still low after 12 hours, an email is sent (set your email and toggles in the page).
- The low food's name turns red in the list, and the 🔔 Food Alarm button in your seller area turns red and blinks.
- Click the Region link to teleport straight to the food that is running out.

9. Organizer — sell no-copy bunnies
The Organizer is a vendor that sells your no-copy bunnies straight from its inventory (the buyer doesn't need to inspect them). It's separate from the kiosk and has its own web panel.
- Rez the Bunny Organizer. If you want to hide the prim creator, use your own prim as root and drop the helper script into the child prim — bunnies dropped in any prim still work.
- Put an object named exactly “DSL Bunny Scanner” inside the Organizer.
- Owner menu → Rez Scanner. Place your bunnies on the scanner: when its floating text shows CAPTURED, its in-world data is saved. Then move those bunnies into the Organizer.
A bunny dropped straight into the Organizer without scanning still works — it just shows the name only (no live stats) until you scan it.
Open My Organizer from the menu (auto-login) to manage everything on the web:
- Edit price, Sell / Unsell, and send Rez / Give / Remove to the in-world prim.
- Search, sort every column, bulk actions, PDF/Phone — same look as the market.
- Multiple organizers? A compact drop-down with checkboxes lets you filter by one or more; each has a 📍 teleport and a 🗑 delete (removes that organizer permanently). Each row shows the name written on the prim.
Bunnies you set on sale appear in the public market (source Organizer) with a teleport to your spot. Take one back / Give / Remove and it leaves the market automatically.

10. FAQ
Why isn't my bunny showing? Make sure it is on the kiosk, it's a real bunny (not food), and your kiosk subscription is active. Live stats appear once the kiosk reads the floating text.
Which data is shown? Only the public in-world stats the bunny displays (name, sex, Age/Full/Happy/Pregnant). We do not use or store any data from the Bunbuns website or account systems.
Are the live stats always current? Age/Full/Happy are a snapshot from the last read and change over time in-world.
Do I need a wallet? Only for paid Promote/renewal. Top up once in-world and you're set.
How does the food alarm know my food? The kiosk reads each food shell's floating text (bags/strings in storage and current %). No alarm fires while you still have spare bags.
